Collaborations

Speaking engagements are a great way to share experiences that matter.

  • I was the 3rd guest in my daughter Cara Eriguel’s podcast series called After 30 with Cara Eriguel. She ambushed me, haha! But it was a great way to get to know each other, no holds barred. She says it was very therapeutic. I felt very naked! If you’re a mom or a daughter and you’re going through stuff with each other, check this out!

  • And just like that, I was Episode 90 in Cara’s After 30 podcast! Here, we talked about the healing power of rewriting your story and how Natalie Goldberg’s book, “Writing Down the Bones,” saved my life when I was in the middle of a difficult marriage many moons ago. As always it was fun to do this with my daughter and I love how she has taken up journaling as a daily self-care practice in her own life.

If you’re interested in starting your own writing practice as a means of traveling lighter, I would love to help you. Meanwhile, have a listen!

  • My coachee turned dear friend, Chiqui Pineda-Azimi, launched her ChiquiStories podcast, made for immigrant Filipinas who need to navigate life out there where it’s bold and new and scary. And because I was once myself, a young ImmiMommy in New York, she decided I would be her first guest. But also, it was more than that. Chiqui’s podcast was a huge and scary dream for her. In our coaching time together, it was awesome to see her bloom from caterpillar doubts to beautiful butterfly, all set to inspire women just like her to tell their stories.

Is there a creative dream you would like to birth into reality but can’t seem to get started? I would love to guide you through!

  • Oftentimes when we’re feeling disconnected, all it takes is to reach out to friends who make us laugh.

I love being in the space of Mommy Mundo; the pioneering multi-platform mom community founded by my dearest friend, Janice Villanueva. I wish I’d had a community like this when I was starting out as a young mom, terribly lost and drowning in my own harsh self-judgements.

In this podcast with Janice, Kit Malvar Llamas, Kate Moynihan Gonzalez and me, we discuss our take on young mom concerns, laugh at ourselves and just generally have a blast enjoying each other’s company.

We thrive when we connect with others.

  • In what ways are you not being 100% there for the people you love because you're busy being stuck in your head?

One of my first talks over Zoom with Atma Prema Wellbeing Group’s Raising Frequencies workshops at the height of the pandemic.

I want this here to remind us all of how far we’ve come. And if you’re reading this, that Gratitude may just be what you’re needing more of in your life today.

Also to remind myself how awkward I was at the start of it all, navigating Zoom and presenting to an online audience, trying to keep up my energies even when all I could see were my slides. I’ve gotten so much better with the constant practice.

Well that, and the decision to get out of my head so I could be more present for others.

  • Have you ever wondered if you could change your career to something totally different from what you are doing now? And if so, would it work out?

We are all resistant to change and oftentimes that’s what keeps us from dreaming big. Check out my conversation with HR experts and how I went from corporate marketing executive to full-time Heartworks Healing coaching and teaching Self-Love.
